Every creator now needs to deliver in at least three formats
The standard deliverable set for a YouTube video in 2026 is the full-length 16:9 video, at least one 9:16 short, and an Instagram-optimized version. Agencies producing content for brands often need all four standard ratios from every piece of footage.
Doing this manually in Premiere Pro means duplicating the sequence, adjusting the frame size, manually repositioning every clip's position to keep the subject in frame, and then repositioning captions for the new format. For a 30-minute video, that's 45–90 minutes of repositioning work per additional format.
Auto Reframe uses AI subject detection to track whoever is speaking frame by frame, then generates a separate Premiere Pro sequence for each requested output format — with the subject always centered and captions repositioned automatically. What takes an hour takes seconds.

How Auto Reframe works
Open the Reframe panel
Select your finished Premiere Pro sequence and open the Auto Reframe tab in the CaptionX panel.
Choose output formats
Select the aspect ratios you need: 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, or all three. Each generates a separate sequence.
AI analyzes and tracks
Subject detection runs across your entire sequence, identifying the speaker's position frame by frame to build position keyframes.
Sequences created
Each new sequence opens in Premiere Pro with position keyframes applied. Edit any frame individually like normal keyframes.
Who it's built for
Content agencies
Agencies producing multi-platform content for brands need every video delivered in 3–4 formats. Auto Reframe makes that a single-click step at the end of every edit — not a 90-minute manual process.
YouTube creators going multi-platform
If you're creating long-form YouTube content and not also publishing Shorts, you're leaving subscriber growth on the table. Auto Reframe makes the vertical version free in terms of editing time.
Podcast video editors
The standard podcast delivery in 2026 includes vertical clips for social. Auto Reframe converts your full episode timeline to vertical format so clips can be cut from the reframed version automatically.
